6. LAUGHTER!
Everyone is enjoying the tea made by Shehnaaz while praising her after every sip, making her giggle cutely which is adorned by Sidharth. He is happy seeing Shehnaaz’s bonding with his family because he is a family man who prioritizes them and now she adds to that too. It’s been ten minutes but not a single member talks to him as they are busy laughing at the queen of entertainment jokes. But how can we forget that OUR SIDDY BOY is an attention seeker? He wants only her attention which he always gains by teasing her. He does the same this time too.
Just to annoy HIS PUNJABAN, he took a half-eaten piece of biscuit from Shehnaaz’s hand and ate it immediately earning a glare from her.
“KUTTA!……..” murmuring some harmless curses to him, Shehnaaz picks up another biscuit and has a bite before it was snatched by her DEAR KULLU again. With a bad face, she picked up the entire dish of biscuits and kept it in front of him, making him laugh. But our Siddy boy loves the biscuit which has her taste.
“GOOD!!!….. YOU ARE LEARNING.” Sidharth appreciates Shehnaaz and giggles seeing her angry balloon-like face which he loves to the moon and back.
The family laughs seeing their acts and shares the smirks knowing what is going on between them. If they had the courage to speak in front of Sidharth then they would instantly call the priest and lock them in the sacred bond of marriage because as per their observations, they won’t confess anything to each other. One loves the other IN A POSITIVE WAY or I say is ATTACHED WITH HIM while the other one just cares about her like A FRIEND. HOPELESS LOVERS!
“SALMAN SIR WAS CORRECT. THEY FIGHT LIKE HUSBAND AND WIFE.” Preeti di whispers to everyone who is observing their chemistry and is happy seeing them together.
“HAA, AAB TOH ROJ EDHAR FAMILY COURT JAISE SCENE HOGA. KABHI LADAI AUR KABHI MANANA…” Ashish whispers back while looking at the chemistry between SIDNAAZ.
“MAIN TOH SNACKS OR DRINKS KA ORDER AAJ HI DE DETI HO, STOCK RAKHNA PADEGA KYUKI AAJ SE LIVE BIGG BOSS DEKHE GAI…” Neetu di says while controlling her laugh not to gain Sidnaaz’s attention or else her brother would question her like a police officer.
“I GUARANTEE… IF THIS GOES LIKE THIS THEN I AM SURE THEY WOULD SOON HAVE A ZORAWAR GILL SHUKLA IN THEIR HANDS BUT THEY STILL PRETEND LIKE FRIENDS…” Aman whispers back with a sulking face accompanied by everyone except Rita maa.
“DON’T WORRY, EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT. TRUST THE ALMIGHTY…. IF HE BRINGS THEM TILL HERE THEN, HE WOULD TAKE THEM AHEAD TOO… THEIR LOVE WILL GROW STRONGER, MY HEART SAYS.” Rita maa utters while blessing the couple with a happy and healthy future.
After spending the most amazing tea time with his whole family, Sidharth remembered something. He looks around and glances at Sana who is busy chit-chatting with his sisters about the shopping. More precisely, his sisters are updating her about all the tourist places in MUMBAI that they can visit together.
“HAYE… SACHI? RAAT KO BEACH AUR KHOOBSURAT LAGTA HAI?…” Shehnaaz asked the Shukla’s sisters while making the most adorable face that no one can resist.
“HAAN!… WE WILL TAKE YOU THERE FOR A SMALL PICNIC.” Preeti Di chirped, bringing a huge smile to Sana’s face which automatically soothes the sisters’ hearts.
“HAYYE…… DI, AAP KITNI ACHHI HO.” Shehnaaz exclaimed while jumping on her seat, engulfing her in her embrace, making her chuckle seeing the cute kid. And out of her habit, she kisses Preeti di’s cheek, tightly, conveying her love which was returned by her too.
“EK DUM PAGAL HAI…” Preeti Di whispers, pecking Sana’s forehead with all the love she holds for her.
Sidharth witnessed the scene and took a note to take HIS PUNJABAN to the beach before anyone could. He gained their attention and asked the question from his sisters, “OYE… TUMHARI VANAR-SENA (Monkey’s army) KIDHAR HAI?”
“WOH HAMARI NAHI, TERI HAI SIDHARTH.” Neetu di replies with a bad face while Shehnaaz looks at them with frowns.
“KYA MATLAB?” Sidharth asks knowing that something stupid is on his way.
“TU UNKA SARDAR (Leader) HAI NAA……. VANAR-RAJ (Monkey’s king). TOH WOH SENA TERI HUI NA?” Preeti di replied instead of Neetu and earned a pillow on her face by one and only Sidharth Shukla. Seeing the brother and sister’s banter, everyone laughs, including Sana.
“HAHAHA…. BHUT HASSI AARAHI HAI?” Sidharth said while gritting his teeth seeing Shehnaaz laughing and supporting his sisters instead of him.
“KYA HAI?… TOH MAI HASU BHI NA?… KUTTA!” Shehnaaz cried out with frustration not understanding the reason behind his anger. She is unaware that he gets mad when she doesn’t support him because he never said this to her. Still, she continues, cutely, “VAISE, KOUNSI VANAR-SENA?”
After a second, she realized something and shouts with fear, “SIDHARTH, YAHA PAR VANAR (Monkey) BHI HAI?…… TOH MAIN KAISE RAHUGI? TUJHE PATA HAI NA KI MUJHE JANWARO SE KITNA DARR LAGTA HAI…” She stood up on the couch and carried on with horror, “KASAM LAGE TUJHE, SIDHARTH…… MAI AUR VANAR EK SATH NAHI RAH SAKTE.”
Everyone rolls on the floor seeing Shehnaaz’s drama while Sidharth shouts at her, “ABE OYE, GADHI, YAHA KOI JANWAR NAHI RAHATE.” Hearing this, Shehnaaz calms down and pouts while he continues pointing at his sisters, “MAI INKE BACHO KI BAATEIN KAR RAHA THA…”
Shehnaaz becomes elated hearing about kids as she loves kids a lot and wants a kid for herself too. In excitement, she jumps to sit on the couch again but her foot slips and she falls on the floor straight, making him scared.
“ABE… GADHI, SAMBHAL KE NAHI BHAITH SAKTI THI KYA?… DHIKHA, KAHA LAGI HAI?” Sidharth scolds her while caring for her at the same time and rubs her foot.
Otherside, everyone too rushed towards her and scolds her as well for her careless behavior. “AAP SAB DATO (Scolds) NAHI MUJHE… MAI THIK HOO. MUJHE NAHI LAGI HAI.” Shehnaaz clears their worries and looks into her Kullu’s eyes to prove her words which relaxes his rising heartbeats. He helped her to sit up again on the couch while making sure she will stick to his side so that he can make sure that she is alright.
With this Shehnaaz realized that Sidharth is very caring towards her. Although she knows that he is kindhearted, as well as possessive of her but this caring side of his she never witnessed. Or if she never noticed his caring nature till now. Her trance was broken by her Kullu.
“SANA, APNE MANAGER KO CALL KAR AUR MUJHSE BAAT KARA…..” Sidharth ordered her, gaining everyone’s curious gazes. They know that he is up to something except Sana who is confused.
“KYU?” Shehnaaz asked with confusion.
“DO AS I SAY SHEHNAAZ,” Sidharth commands not leaving a place for any argument for her.
“OK,” Shehnaaz agreed don’t know why but she always obeys his orders. She pulled out her phone and dialed her manager, Manish’s number. He picks up the call after the third ring and Sidharth hears only the one-sided conversation, “HELLO, MANISH…. Tusī kivēṁ hō?……….. Maiṁ ṭhīka hāṁ…….. Sidhāratha tuhāḍē nāla gala karanā cāhudā hai. Isa la’ī, usa nāla gala karō.” saying this she handover the phone to Sidharth whereas everyone is looking at him only with frowns. ( Hello Manish, how are you?…… I am fine……. Actually, Sidharth wants to talk to you. So, talk to him. )
“HELLO, SIDHARTH SHUKLA HERE…” Sidharth said on the call with his attitude making the person scared from his tone and without waiting for any greeting from another side he continued, “MANISH, YOU ARE FIRED!!!……. NOW YOU WILL NOT WORK FOR SHEHNAAZ. GET YOUR DUES AND CONVEY THIS MESSAGE TO SANA’S WHOLE TEAM.” saying this he cut the call and heard Shehnaaz’s yell.
“WHAT THE F*CK!……..SIDHARTH. AAB MAI KAAM KAISE KARUGI?” Shehnaaz shouts and looks at him dumbfoundedly while waiting for his answer. Whereas the rest gasped seeing his step but chose to stay quiet because this is their matter and they are not well aware of their industry.
“K@MINI… DHERE BOL! MERE KAAN MAI DARD HO JAYEGA…” Sidharth shouts back stifling his smile and runs his ears showing how much it pained him hearing her shout.
“TOH MAI TUJHE DAWAI LAA KE DE-DUGI…. PAR MUJHE BATA TUNE AISA KYU KIYA?” Shehnaaz says while gritting her teeth in annoyance seeing his smile.
“TU NAHI SAMJHEGI…” Sidharth says testing her patience level. While she simply asks, “KYU?”
Sidharth replied with a secret smile, “KYU KI TU GADHI HAI…” and he ended up laughing hard, making her angrier. But the next second, Shehnaaz pounces on him and pulls his hair with full authority, murmuring, “TERI TOH!….”
