78. KISS’S EFFECTS!

As soon as Nandini’s eyes land on Manik’s face, he bends down and places his lips on hers while cupping her cheeks, sealing everyone’s mouths with his courageous move. He keeps sucking her lips to prove to Akshat that SHE IS ONLY HIS!……. ONLY HIS TO LOVE……. ONLY HIS TO CHERISH! 

Everyone’s eyes come out from their sockets seeing the live kiss. Raman and Abhi both gasped seeing the little mature content in which their little princess is included.

Whereas Raj palms his face imaging Manik and Nandini’s condition after the kiss with annoyance. 

Ca:- ( while biting his nails ) THE CONFESSION WITH KISS WILL COST YOUR LIFE MANIK. 

Raman hears his comment and replies angrily. 

Ram:- I will not give him simple death. First, I will do the surgery on his lips then I will think about the options to kill him. 

Abhi:- ( angrily ) how….. How can he kiss my baby girl in front of us? 

Ca:- ( rolls his eyes on his brother’s silly question ) this is not the correct time to teach you HOW TO KISS YOUR PARTNER ON LIPS!! Don’t be an innocent kid Bhai, you are a mature man who is going to be a father so, I think you are very well aware of the process of producing a baby or a kiss. 

Raj:- and what’s this, in front of us? Such a hypocrite you are…… you are ok with them if they kiss behind the door but not in front of us. Then, what about our entertainment? 

Ca:- ( confusingly ) what is the entertainment in this? 

Raj:- ( mischievously ) not this……. The after-effects of the kiss. 

Abhi:- ( surprisingly ) dad, both of them are enjoying our situation. 

Ram:- ( with a bad face ) more than them……. Manik and Nandini enjoying themselves. 

He says while looking at the couple who are indulged in each other forgetting about their families. Ah…… not them, their lips are indulged in work for now. 

Manik is passionately sucking her lips with a slow speed showing everyone his rights on her. While Nandini is shocked as before. Although she is fully responding to the kiss but in a daze, IN A DAZE OF HIS LOVE. 

Otherside, the lady’s condition worsens than the men’s. They all become a statue with wide-open eyes and mouth. All of their brains were processing the scene with different-different thoughts. 

Nyonika is gasping at his son’s bravery while keeping a hand on her heart. All the pros and cons are running in her mind. She has double thoughts, whether Nandini is her soon-to-be bahu (daughter-in-law) or Manik is cheating on his girlfriend while kissing another girl in a rage. 

Nyo:- ( angrily ) what the hell is he doing? 

Alya replies who is also surprised with her brother’s move. 

Aly:- NOT ONLY HE!…… WHAT ARE THEY DOING? 

Muk:- ( shockingly ) kissing……….? 

Mukti tries to reply in a casual tone but it comes out in a questioning way to which Navya replies in a whisper. 

Navya:- No….NO…….. Kissing is just a small word to describe their state. THEY ARE SMOOCHING!

Ish:- ( in a daze ) but, why?……………

Nyo:- ( to Ishita ) when you get an answer then tell me too. 

On the other hand, Manik breaks the kiss when the need for oxygen strikes them. He moves back beautifully while his hands are still on her cheeks. 

Nandini looks at him lovingly and why not he always makes their every kiss memorable. But she is unaware of the fact that this kiss is going to be memorable among the rest of their kisses which they shared or will share in the future not because of him but because of their family members who are desperately waiting to attack them like predators.

Breaking their cute eye lock, Manik turns his gaze to look at the burning soul of Akshat Dhawan.

Manik comes two steps ahead and stands in front of Akshat while crossing his arms around his chest with his all-time favorite attitude. 

Ma:- did you see? SHE IS MINE, ONLY MINE!!……. Now, hear me loud and clear. WE LOVE EACH OTHER!……….. MANIK LOVES NANDINI AND NANDINI LOVES ONLY MANIK!!! GET THIS INSIDE YOUR TINY BRAIN AND REMOVE THE SLIGHTEST DOUBT YOU HAD THAT SHE LOVES YOU. 

Akshat boils in anger and grabs Manik’s collar which doesn’t affect him at all. While on the other side, the other family members too heard his words clearly and gasped at the same time. Hearing some weird sounds Nandini turns around and looks at the family. 

As soon as Nandini’s eyes met their predator-like eyes, the world stopped for her. All the kiss, confessions come in front of her eyes like a movie scene. She jumped on her place seeing their expressions. 

Her eyes turn black while her hand automatically moves towards her mouth which gets open in shock. She gulps hard and looks here and there to hide from their gazes. 

Nan:- ( crying dramatically while looking at the ceiling ) BHULA DENA MUJHE

                                                         HAI ALVIDA TUJHE

                                                        TUJHE JEENA HAI

                                                      MERE BINA………

                                                                                   GOD BLESS YOU, NANDINI!

While Manik is unaware of the whole situation. He is fully in a mood to punish this Akshat for troubling his Nandini. 

Ma:- ( angrily ) I AM GIVING YOU LAST WARNING, AKSHAT. GET LOST!!…. OR ELSE YOU WILL REGRET IT. 

Akshat:- then, hear me loud and clear Malhotra……… I am here to take Nandini with m…. 

“ YOU HAVE TO COME WITH US MR. AKSHAT DHAWAN “ 

Akshat’s words were cut by the loud voice of the INSPECTOR who was standing at the door in his uniform. 

Seeing the right person at the right time, Manik’s smile widens. 

Ma:- take him back to the place where he deserves to live the rest of his life. 

Everyone looks at them confusingly but they all trust Manik and his decisions that’s why they kept quiet. 

Akshat:- ( scaredly ) where…..? 

Inspector:- your bail has been canceled because of your deeds. So, you have to come with us. 

Akshat:- what deeds and who called you here? I am not going anywhere. 

Ma:- I called them here, Akshat. Don’t you know that harassing someone is a crime and you try to harass MY NANDINI.

Raj comes forward with the same Malhotra attitude and stands beside Manik, shielding Nandini in a way. 

Raj:- ( with a smirk ) if some random person named MANISH SAXSENA helps you to get bail for his benefit then, can’t I cancel your bail just to save MY SON AND DAUGHTER?…………………. ( angrily ) Think about it wisely in jail and wait for your partner too because he will soon join you with his son. Now, get lost! 

Hearing him, a question arises in Nandini’s mind that “DID HE KNOW ABOUT HER AND MANIK’S RELATIONSHIP?” which makes her suspicious. Whereas the constables try to hold Akshat but he moves back panicky. Now he is acting like a mad person. 

Ram:- Akshat, get one thing directly in your mind that you didn’t deserve my daughter. You don’t love her, you are just obsessed with her and Manish is using that obsession to get my daughter. 

Akshat:- No…… no one is using me. I know he is supporting me because he wants my happiness and he knows that my happiness lies in Nandini. I want Nandini!!!!  

He starts running here and there in madness while murmuring “IF SHE CAN’T BE MINE THEN I CAN’T LET HER BE ANYONE’S”, repeatedly. In his obsession, he picks up the knife from the dining table by hiding it from everyone and moves towards Nandini. 

Akshat:- you love me na, Nandini? ( while shouting on top of his tone ) say you love me!! 

Nan:- how can you act like that Akshat? You were my best friend during my school and college days but nothing more than that. I never felt anything more for you. I don’t love you, Akshat. I don’t have any hard feelings for you either, just try to understand it. 

Akshat:- ( stubbornly ) No, you love me but you are ignoring your feelings. 

Nan:- Aksha…… 

Before she could complete her words Akshat moves towards her in a rage and raises his hand to stab her but at the right time, Manik sees the knife in his hands and pulls her aside to save her. 

But it became a little late because the knife did cause a sharp and long cut on her left arm making her cry in pain. Not only her, everyone cries and runs to hold her whereas the men’s anger reaches the sky. 

Before anyone could do anything they saw Manik who grabbed Akshat’s collar and placed a punch on his jaw. Akshat’s jaw twisted because of the punch and his lips started bleeding. 

The inspector rushed to separate Manik and Akshat but it was of no use. Manik is biting the hell out of Akshat who is trying his best to save himself. He pushes him to the ground and kicks his stomach back to back making him puke. 

The two possessive brothers too join him to punish Akshat who dares to hurt their little sister. No one tries to stop them except the constables who are trying their best to save Akshat from the three lions. 

Ma:- ( with red eyes ) ho….w….. How dare you hurt MY NANDINI……! How dare you!!! 

The inspector:- sir, please leave him…… 

Seeing the situation going out of hand, Nandini tries to stop them. She is in immense pain because of the cut but still, she knows that she needs to stop them or else the possessive men of her life will kill him for sure. 

Nan:- guys, please stop, you will kill him. Manik, please leave him for god’s sake.
